The Small Fruit Horticulture Lab at the University of Florida is a creative space where students develop academic research, communication, and professional skills that prepare them for careers in the horticulture sector (industry, academia, or government). Our research explores how agronomic practices, climate, and crop genetic diversity impact horticultural crop quality, productivity, and resilience. We pursue research questions at the interface of horticulture and plant physiology focusing on berry crops grown in modern horticultural production systems.
